Our story
In 2014, my wife and I found out we were going to be parents. That's when we decided to build a life outside Brazil, with more safety and opportunities for our daughter.
We planned for four years and, in 2018, we moved to the United States. There we started our businesses, including a franchise of an American retail chain and online businesses.
After eight years in America, we wanted more time with family and an even better quality of life. We chose Italy, which had always been our second home, and moved to Monza, a charming city 20 minutes from Milan.
Here we found what the United States couldn't give us: affordable healthcare, real food, time for family and all of Europe close by. We created Rotta Italia to help other families make this same move, with the planning we did ourselves.

How we work
- One point of contact: you talk to us, in Portuguese, English or Italian. We coordinate the lawyer, commercialista, translators and real estate agencies.
- Everything in writing: path, costs, timelines and documents are recorded from the first consultation.
- No impossible promises: visas and citizenship are decided by the Italian authorities. Our job is to prepare the right application.
- After arrival too: housing, school, doctor, bank and taxes in the first year.
Why Monza
Monza is 10 minutes by train from Milan, has one of the largest walled parks in Europe, international schools and the pace of a mid-sized city. This is where we serve clients from all over the world, and where you can find us.
