Founder of Rotta Italia
In 2014, my wife and I found out we were going to be parents. That was when we decided to build a life outside Brazil, with more security and opportunity for our daughter.
We planned for four years, and in 2018 we moved to the United States. There we started our own companies, including a franchise of an American retail chain and online businesses.
After eight years in America, we wanted more time with our family and an even better quality of life. We chose Italy, which had always felt like our second home, and settled in Monza, a charming city 20 minutes from Milan.
Here we found what the United States could not give us: affordable healthcare, real food, time for family and all of Europe close by. We created Rotta Italia to help other families make the same move, with the same planning we did ourselves.

Can you help me pay less tax?
Yes, legally. With our partner accountant, we check whether you qualify for regimes such as the inbound worker regime, the flat-rate regime or the flat tax for new residents, and we plan your tax position before you even arrive.
Can you set up my company in Italy?
Yes. We handle VAT numbers for freelancers and setting up SRL or SRLS companies, with monthly bookkeeping by our partner accountant.
Do you handle citizenship cases in court?
The legal side is handled by our partner lawyer in Italy. We organize the documents, follow the case and keep you updated.
Can I still get citizenship by descent?
Since 2025 the rules are stricter and, in general, recognition now applies to children and grandchildren of Italians. Use the citizenship checker for a first answer and book a consultation to review your case.
Do you work with people from any country?
Yes. We meet by video and WhatsApp, in Portuguese, English and Italian, and the website is available in 9 languages.
