This policy supplements the privacy policy. The controller is [razão social] (trading as Rotta Italia), Via Cortelonga, 20900 Monza (MB), Italy, VAT no. 000-000-00, e-mail contact@rottaitaliarelocation.com [confirmar e-mail]. It follows Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the Italian Data Protection Authority's (Garante) Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021.
1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way, but the data stays only on your device and is not automatically sent to any server. Below we call all of these "cookies".
- Technical (necessary): make the site work and remember your choices. No consent needed.
- Analytics: measure how the site is used. Because Google Analytics 4 does not meet the conditions to be treated like technical cookies, we only enable it with your consent.
- Advertising (marketing): measure and personalise ads. Only with your consent.
2. How your choice works
- On your first visit, a banner offers "Accept" and "Reject" buttons with equal prominence, plus a link to choose by category.
- Closing the banner with the X counts as rejecting: only technical cookies remain active.
- Scrolling, clicking links or continuing to browse does not count as consent.
- Before you choose, no Google or Meta tag is loaded. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with all signals set to "denied" by default [confirmar com o desenvolvedor: modo básico, sem pings sem cookies antes do consentimento].
- We keep your choice for 6 months. After that, or if the cookies we use change, we ask again.
- You can change your mind at any time with the button below or the "Cookies" link in the footer.

4. What we do not use
- Fonts are hosted on our own server: we do not use Google Fonts.
- The tools run their calculations in your browser and do not set cookies.
- Exchange rates are requested by your browser from the Frankfurter service (ECB data) without cookies; its server only receives your IP address, as with any access.
- WhatsApp links only take you to the app; the site does not set WhatsApp cookies.
5. Third-party cookies and transfers
Google and Meta also process data collected through their cookies in the United States, on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. See their policies: Google, Google – business partners, Meta. For the Meta Pixel, we and Meta Platforms Ireland are joint controllers for the collection and transmission of data (Art. 26 GDPR).
6. Browser controls
You can also delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block everything, the site still works, but it may forget your language and ask again about cookies.
7. Your rights
For your rights and how to complain to the Garante, see the privacy policy.
