2. What we do and what we do not do

Rotta Italia provides relocation consulting, concierge services and guidance on immigration to Italy: route planning, document checklists, practical support on arrival and coordination with professionals.

  • We are not a law firm or an accounting firm. Activities reserved by law (representation in court, legal advice, tax advice, bookkeeping) are carried out by duly licensed partner lawyers or partner commercialisti, always with your agreement and, where applicable, under their own engagement and fees, disclosed in advance.
  • We do not guarantee outcomes. Visas, work permits (nulla osta), residence permits (permessi di soggiorno), recognition of qualifications, registration with professional boards, citizenship and any other decisions rest solely with the Italian authorities or those of other countries. Public bodies' timelines do not depend on us.
  • Site content is for information only. Guides, articles, figures and tools (calculators, quiz, comparators) give general estimates and may become outdated. They do not replace an assessment of your case.

3. Services, prices and payment

  • Pre-analysis for doctors: R$ 997. Includes [descrever entregáveis: p. ex. análise do perfil, relatório escrito, reunião online de X minutos, prazo de entrega].
  • Consultations: price and content shown on the Prices page or in a written quote before purchase.
  • Prices are [IVA / regime fiscal aplicável – confirmar com o commercialista]. Government fees, sworn translations, apostilles, partner fees and third-party costs are not included unless expressly stated.
  • Payment: [meios de pagamento, moeda de cobrança e momento do pagamento]. Any currency conversion costs or bank charges on your side are borne by you.

4. How the contract is concluded

The contract is concluded at a distance (WhatsApp, e-mail or video call). Beforehand, we send you in writing the description of the service, the total price, the timeline and information on the right of withdrawal. The contract is concluded when you accept the proposal in writing [e/ou paga – definir]. We send you confirmation on a durable medium (for example, e-mail or PDF), under Art. 51(7) of the Consumer Code.

5. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer (an individual acting for purposes outside your trade or profession), you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving any reason and at no cost (Art. 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code).

  • How to withdraw: send a clear statement to contact@rottaitaliarelocation.com before the period expires. You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory.
  • Refund: we refund all payments received within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same means of payment unless agreed otherwise, at no cost to you.
  • Performance during the withdrawal period: if you expressly ask for the service to start during the withdrawal period and then withdraw, you pay only an amount proportionate to what has already been provided (Art. 57(3)).
  • Loss of the right: the right of withdrawal no longer applies once the service has been fully performed, if performance began with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you would lose the right of withdrawal once the contract is fully performed (Art. 59(1)(a)). For the pre-analysis, this means that once the result is delivered [definir entregável], you can no longer withdraw, provided you gave that express consent in writing.

6. What we expect from you

  • Provide true, complete and up-to-date information and authentic documents.
  • Tell us about relevant changes (family, work, address, deadlines received from public bodies).
  • Reply to our requests within a reasonable time. Delays caused by missing or incorrect information are not our responsibility.

7. Limits of liability

  • We are responsible for the diligent performance of the services we provide directly.
  • We are not liable for decisions, delays or requirements of authorities, for changes in the law after the service, or for acts of third parties you engage directly.
  • Partner professionals (lawyer, commercialista and others) act independently and are responsible for their own professional acts, under their own professional rules and insurance.
  • For clients buying as professionals or businesses, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service concerned.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence (Art. 1229 Italian Civil Code), or any rights that the law grants to consumers and that cannot be waived.
  • We are not liable for temporary unavailability of the site or for the content of external websites we link to.

8. Use of the site and intellectual property

The site's texts, brand, design, tools and spreadsheets belong to [razão social] or its licensors. You may use them for personal purposes. Reproduction, resale or commercial use require written permission. You must not use the site unlawfully or in a way that impairs its operation.

9. Personal data

How we process your data is described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

  • These terms and contracts with Rotta Italia are governed by Italian law.
  • If you are a consumer living in another country, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of habitual residence (Art. 6 of Regulation (EC) 593/2008, "Rome I").
  • Consumers: the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile, if in Italy (Art. 66-bis of the Consumer Code); in other cases, the consumer protection rules of Articles 17–19 of Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 and the applicable law apply.
  • Professionals and businesses: the Court of Monza has exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Complaints and out-of-court dispute resolution

If something does not go as expected, write to contact@rottaitaliarelocation.com. We reply within [15] working days.

As a consumer, you may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body listed under Articles 141 et seq. of the Consumer Code. The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025, following the repeal of Regulation (EU) 524/2013 by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228; we therefore no longer provide a link to it. [indicar se a empresa adere a algum organismo ADR]

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Contracts already concluded remain governed by the terms accepted at the time of purchase, except for changes required by law.
